Getting ready for all the #Jets won despite Aaron Glenn tweets…..

#JetUp

[Battered Fans NY @BatteredFansNY]

David Bailey is silencing all the haters today #JetUp

[Battered Fans NY @BatteredFansNY]

After last week the #Jets had to figure out a way to get Garrett Wilson more involved

It’s nice to see that they went straight to it on the first drive and it paid off

Now we’ll need other players to step up because the Browns are sure to double Wilson moving forward #JetUp

[Battered Fans NY @BatteredFansNY]

The #Jets special teams was a strength last year wasn’t it?

Or was it that our offense and defense was so bad last year that we just propped up special teams because in comparison they were the bright spot?

The fall off has been real so far this season #JetUp

[Battered Fans NY @BatteredFansNY]

Someone told me some #Jets fans aren’t rooting for a win today, because it could ruin our chances at drafting a QB

That’s wild, with all the losing we’ve done over the last 15 years, give me every win possible this year & we’ll figure everything else out after #JetUp

[Battered Fans NY @BatteredFansNY]

Why would the #Jets go for 2 there?!

If you want to swing for the fences and go for the win by going for 2 because you’re down 1 at the end of the game fine, but there? Why?! 🫣 #JetUp

What a throw by Geno, what a catch by Sadiq, great drive overall

Need the defense to step up big next possession to turn the momentum in this game #JetUp

ON THIS DAY IN 1934: BABE RUTH SAID GOODBYE TO YANKEE STADIUM. The Sultan of Swat made his final home appearance as a Yankee, closing the Bronx chapter of a career that transformed baseball forever. #Yankees #BabeRuth #YankeeStadium #OnThisDay

After Keyshawn Johnson spent the week disrespecting Wayne Chrebet, Chrebet caught the game-winning TD from CURTIS MARTIN with 52 seconds left! Jets win 21–17 and improve to 4–0. Talk answered. #Jets #WayneChrebet #JetUp #OnThisDay #BatteredJetsFans

If the #Jets can go 2-2 in their first 4 heading into the home game against the Browns, I think they’re still in a good spot to have a good season

I refuse to give up all hope after just week 2 #JetUp

ON THIS DAY IN 1986: The Jets & Dolphins combined for 96 POINTS as Ken O’Brien & Dan Marino traded bombs all day. O’Brien threw 5 TDs. Marino threw 6. Wesley Walker caught FOUR as the Jets survived 51–45! One of the craziest games in Jets-Dolphins history #OnThisDay #Jetup

ON THIS DAY IN 2001: Ten days after 9/11, sports returned to NYC. With the Mets trailing Atlanta in the 8th, Mike Piazza launched a go-ahead two-run homer and Shea Stadium erupted. For a few moments, baseball gave New York something to smile about again #Mets #LGM #OnThisDay

Felt like the #Jets were riding the crowds energy and the defense was feeding into the 12th man

Thats gone away towards the end of the 1st quarter, we need to get this game back in the hands of our running game, or at least work some screens in there #JetUp

ON THIS DAY IN 2009: Another big time week 2 home opener. The Patriots came into the Meadowlands…and didn’t score a SINGLE touchdown. Mark Sanchez found Dustin Keller for the game’s only TD, and New York beat New England 16–9. The Rex Ryan era had begun. #Jets #JetUp #OnThisDay

[Battered Fans NY @BatteredFansNY]

ON THIS DAY IN 2014: The Jets found a new way to lose. New York blew a 21–3 lead at Lambeau, then appeared to tie the game late when Geno Smith found Jeremy Kerley for a 37-yard TD… except the Jets’ OWN SIDELINE called timeout just before the snap. Peak Jets. #JetUp #OnThisDay

Jets looked good, they looked balanced and that’s 1 win down

16 games to go, can we find 8 wins in the next 16

I know it was against the Titans, but there were a lot of people going into this game not feeling confident that the Jets would win

Great start to the season #JetUp

[Battered Fans NY @BatteredFansNY]

Halftime thoughts:

Idk how this #Jets season will go, but one thing is clear, we have a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball #JetUp

ON THIS DAY IN 1999: Jets entered the season dreaming about the Super Bowl. Then everything changed.

Coming off an AFC Championship Game, Jets entered 1999 as a Super Bowl contender — only for Vinny Testaverde to rupture his Achilles in Week 1
Sound familiar?

ON THIS DAY IN 2018: Sam Darnold’s FIRST NFL PASS WAS A PICK-SIX. And somehow the night got MUCH better. Darnold recovered and the Jets forced five turnovers as New York absolutely destroyed Detroit 48–17 in his NFL debut. #Jets #TakeFlight #BatteredFans #OnThisDay

ON THIS DAY IN 1993: Jim Abbott made baseball history in the Bronx. ⚾ Abbott threw a NO-HITTER as the Yankees beat Cleveland 4–0 at Yankee Stadium. One of the most inspirational and unforgettable pitching performances the game has ever seen. #Yankees #RepBX #JimAbbott #OnThisDay
