Leftist-controlled New England is the second-most ‘anti-democratic’ region in America, trailing only The People’s Communist Republic of California.

For example, Connecticut Democrats favor a state and federal popular-vote system precisely because density holds strong in cities like Hartford, New Haven, and Bridgeport. If conservative towns like Shelton, Torrington, and Greenwich ever grew enough to challenge that dominance, leftists would waste no time changing the rules to maintain control.

You just have to keep in mind that with these people, nothing is sacred, and the ends always justify the means. Their hatred of the Electoral College is driven solely by their ability to manufacture votes in deep-blue urban centers and their inability to do so across the rest of the republic.

Poorly understood fact:

The "winner take all" approach to Electoral College votes is purely a function of state law.

Nothing Constitutional or under federal law is stopping a state from apportioning its Electoral College votes consistent with the popular vote percentages inside the state.

Remind people from California, New York, Illinois, etc. of this fact the next time they claim the Electoral College is "undemocratic."

Ask them instead why they hate democracy by silencing ~40% of their state.

This is my nephew, Baby Michael — my brother Aaron and his wife Kiki’s sixth child. They just welcomed him, but his lungs aren’t fully developed and aren’t working properly. He’s been transferred to St. Louis Children’s Hospital, intubated, and fighting hard.
