Israel Paying Millions to Influence AI Chatbots

Former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale is leading a $46.5 million Israeli government campaign to influence AI chatbots by publishing hundreds of pro-Israel articles across a network of websites.

The sites are designed primarily for AI systems, not human readers.

Parscale's contract explicitly aimed to shape "GPT conversations," and his team claims they are already seeing success.

AI tools including Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, and sometimes ChatGPT or Claude have cited these websites in responses about Gaza and U.S.-Israel relations. Some chatbots identified the sites as Israeli government-funded, while others did not.

At his joint press conference with Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Berlin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev publicly confirmed that a secret German-Russian backchannel meeting took place in Baku on July 12–14 — moments after Merz flatly denied knowing anything about it.

Asked by Deutsche Welle's Roman Goncharenko about German media reports of "an informal German-Russian meeting" with "former high-ranking politicians from governing parties," Merz said simply:

I know nothing of such a meeting.

Aliyev then contradicted him with forensic detail.

He said Azerbaijan itself only learned of the meeting from The Times, had its border service check the flight records, and confirmed the names:

On July 12, on a flight from Berlin to Baku, two known persons arrived — the former head of the [Chancellor's] administration, Mr. [Ronald] Pofalla, and Mr. [Matthias] Platzeck.

Coming from Moscow to Baku was the former Prime Minister of Russia, Mr. [Viktor] Zubkov, and the head of the civil society council, Mr. [Valery] Fadeyev.

Our territory was used without our information for their meeting.

Neden ilk önce Avrupa’daki Türkler düşünülmüyor? Gerekirse geri dönüşü teşvik edecek politikalar geliştirilir, hatta bu konuda AfD gibi partilerin uyguladığı yabaci karşıtı geri dönüş politikalarıyla ortak çıkar oluşursa bundan da faydalanılır.

Avrupa’daki Türklerin özellikle 3. ve 4. kuşağının içinde binlerce akademisyen, mühendis, doktor, bilim insanı var. Diğer tarafta da yıllardır Alman sanayisinde çalışmış, işi bilen kalifiye işçiler var.

Böyle bir dönüş sadece nüfusa katkı sağlamaz. Aynı zamanda sanayide de, bilimde de, teknolojide de bunun karşılığını alır.
