When the field tells the story, we’re paying attention. 📷
Seeing the difference traits like Trecepta® and VT4Pro™ with Viptera® can make against western bean cutworm pressure is exactly why in-field observations matter. 📷
Thanks for sharing the field perspective, Nicole!
I JUST. KEEP. FINDING. THEM.
Fairly widespread in my travels. Trait packages with Vipterra such as Trecepta and VT4Pro seem to be doing the trick against these western bean cutworm

Checked out my last corn root worm trap of the season today. The numbers were all over the board, reminding us that every field tells a different story. I’m hoping this data provides some peace of mind and helps growers build a stronger game plan for the 2027 crop🌽#AgTwitter
A one-pound ear at 34K is a milestone worth celebrating. 🌽 Great to see those @Asgrow_DEKALB acres hitting that mark — and with more kernel weight still to come, this field is looking strong heading into the home stretch.
Finally, first time. One lb ears in a row. Plant pop 34k. Been trying to do this awhile at mid 30k pop to high 30k’s. Over the hurdle. Now to replicate an acre of it, then 10, then the field. Corn is just right at half milk line. Still couple more weeks of packing a little more kernel weight. Thanks @agrimodis

On this week’s Tuesday Tips, Jay Mahaffey takes a closer look at signs of insect activity in cotton and what those clues can tell us when scouting. See what he’s finding.
@blakeahadley Thanks for sharing this, Blake. Late-season N management is an important piece of the grain-fill conversation, and this is a great breakdown of what to watch for in the plant. 🕵🌽

Late-season corn is in the home stretch 🏁 Knowing where your crop is in kernel development can help guide irrigation decisions and keep harvest planning in focus. 💧🚜
Field observations like this are what make the growing season so interesting. 🌽 Thanks for sharing what you’re seeing out in Iowa, Elzandi. We’ll be watching the fields right alongside you.
I received these pictures of Preceon™ Short Stature Corn alongside tall corn following the severe storms and 70+ mph winds in Iowa this past weekend.
Sometimes the field tells the story better than we ever could....
Seeing is believing. 🌽
Scouting isn't just about finding insects. It's about understanding the insects' impact on the crop, using fruit retention as an indicator
For this week's “Tuesday Tips,” Jay takes us out in the field to talk scouting, fruit retention and what lygus bugs can mean for your cotton.
