@dvanklomp I have two 605n. I used to have a Deere 568 and my help would refuse to run it. Vermeer net wrap never misses and you don’t have to put pickup teeth in them all the time. The Vermeer is an absolute beast in cornstalks.
@schrieferranch I put together a nice order one day then asked for the total. Then I told him I couldn’t afford it and started taking things off one by one. He actually told me to F off and hung up. Haha
@silagechopper@koinzangreg Dad went to school the first day of school and didn’t like it. When they went outside for recess he just walked home. It was only a mile away, he said Grandma hauled him back in there before recess was over.
@silagechopper We flew around you in your jeep on 90 Sunday. I wanted to chase you down and shake your hand. My wife said I would probably get shot and she didn’t care who you were. You live in some tough country!
@silagechopper I bought a hose crimper so I wouldn’t have to bother and beg on holidays and weekends. Apparently that’s the only time hoses go bad because that’s the only time the neighbors call.
@ksufearless Is this is a farm you plan on building anything on? If so you will have to go through an ridiculous amount of BS when you do. I had a beginning farmer loan for a couple years and it wasn’t worth the headaches/shackles when I started adding and upgrading facilities.
@silagechopper@BerdoMike@dubyadirt Made the second payment late on my shop the other day. Im 105%sure I worked harder than the banker the last couple days. I don’t think Ill ever be sorry but probably always be broke. Fuck it, enjoy it.
@605ranchy Cobetts are amazing for a hand full of cattle in the winter. Johnson’s are great in the summer. On a bigger Johnson the overflow won’t move enough water to keep it thawed. Ice sweepers work great as long as the water is cleaned daily which sucks when it’s cold.
@Prairiehauler@clintwfischer I wish more people would realize FSA isn’t the only option for a young person to get a foothold. Once I got rid of them and a lazy banker my life became a lot easier.
