China has 1.4 billion people. Yet they eliminated extreme poverty by 2020. Let that sink in.
They built 48,000km of high-speed rail, more than the rest of the world COMBINED. Bullet trains gliding at 350km/h connect every major city. Beijing to Shanghai, 1,300km, costs about $50, cheaper than crossing Lagos in traffic on some days from island to mainland via uber.
In the Qinghai desert sits the world’s largest solar farm, panels stretching to the horizon, generating power for millions. The Talatan project covers an area bigger than some entire cities. They installed more solar in 2024 alone than the US has installed in its ENTIRE history.
Off the coast of Fujian, massive offshore wind turbines taller than 80-storey buildings, some with blades longer than a football pitch, spin silently above the sea, powering millions of homes carbon-neutral.
A single one of these giants generates enough electricity in a day to power 170,000 households.
8 of the world’s 10 longest bridges are Chinese. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge runs 55km across open sea — a feat of engineering Western nations called impossible. The Danyang-Kunshan Grand Bridge stretches 165km. They build in years what takes others decades.
BYD overtook Tesla in 2024. EVs start at $10K. Robotaxis without drivers cruise the streets of 7 cities. Humanoid robots assemble cars, deliver packages, serve coffee.
Shenzhen, a fishing village 40 years ago is now a futuristic skyline of drones, AI and skyscrapers that rivals Manhattan.
Sun and salt in the desert generating power. Wind and waves at sea generating electricity. Maglev trains floating on magnetic rails. Cities built from nothing in a decade.
Meanwhile, resource-rich countries with a fraction of the population sit in darkness, debt, and decay.
So how?
How does a nation of 1.4 billion pull this off while countries with more resources, fewer mouths to feed and centuries of head-start are still stuck?
How do they move this fast, build this big, dream this far?
What are they doing that we aren’t?
1. Our skeletons are wet.
2. your nose is ALWAYS in your line of sight, but your brain ignores it
3. When you receive a donated kidney, they don’t take out the bad one. They just add the good one in.
4. Your immune system doesn't know you have eyes. Otherwise, it would attack them and make you blind. injuring one eye can introduce eye bits to the bloodstream and basically give your immune system the knowledge of having eyes. then it might decide it really fucking hates that and attack your non-injured eye.
5. The quality of the male sperm is responsible for morning sickness, preeclampsia, baby’s gender and almost every single pregnancy related issue.
6. You breathe through one nostril at a time. Don’t believe me? Put your finger below your nose and try.
7. The brain itself has no nerve endings, so it can’t feel pain. That’s why patients can be wide awake during brain surgery and made to perform certain actions.
8. That ringing in silence isn’t silence
When everything is quiet and you hear a faint ringing?
That’s your brain listening to its own nervous system.
You are hearing yourself functioning.
9. You will never experience your own death.
You only experience approaching it… Then nothing.
Everyone else gets closure, stories, funerals, and memories.
You don’t.
You never know you’ve become a memory.
From your perspective, the story just stops mid-sentence.
Like it or not, church has failed and it is failing more and more everyday.
This is not the church we read about in scripture, but many of us have become so blind and foolish to see it.
If you say it, mumu people will gather and think you’re attacking the church.
No organization can fix Nigeria if the church doesn’t stand up and do it.
Mumu people will ask, is church government ?
You lack proper understanding of the power the church has or use to have.
Thank you @otegaogra
for amplifying your stupidity.
You thought you could hide it under buzzwords and a long write-up, right? Ozuor.
Now let's dive deeper into the gibberish you wrote here.
First of all, a good policy can be badly implemented, and that is exactly what the government you support did with the subsidy removal and the floating of the naira.
There is a popular saying that if you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.
The druggie came out on the day of his inauguration to scream “Subsidy is gone.”
That was the first sign of disaster.
Tinubu did not plan at all.
He thought he could ride on a popular demand without an iota of knowledge on how it could be successfully implemented.
Well, he never had any intention of fixing anything.
He forgot that removing the subsidy and floating the currency are not items on a food menu that you can simply swap, nor is it an expired coke that you can sniff just like that.
He was completely oblivious to the planning required and the stakeholder engagements needed to make it work.Lastly, democracy is the government of the people at all times, not just for some days or some moments.
This is why any policy that adds to the pains of the people without any clear pathway to success is automatically a bad policy.
You won’t understand this because you are blinded by the crumbs you are getting and the fake life you are living, which is clearly above your means.
Next time, allow your head to do the thinking because you’ve relied on your ass for far too long.
You were created with a brain — use it.
Let’s be honest for once. Our Muslim preacher stood inside a mosque, with people cheering, and placed a ₦1,000,000 bounty on a Christian pastor’s head. Not arrest. Not debate. Not correction.
His head.
And what did we get after that?
Silence.
No outrage. No serious condemnation. Just that quiet support from Muslims.
People like Bashir who always have something to say suddenly went missing.
Then tomorrow, when people say they’re scared or start shouting “Islamophobia”, we’ll start acting surprised.
You can’t be defending this nonsense or keeping quiet about it, then expect people to feel safe around you.
At some point, we need to stop pretending.
If we don’t call this out clearly, then we are the problem.
There's nothing like illegal crude oil theft, an ordinary person or company can't enter our waters without the knowledge of those in charge, which is the govt and its representatives, especially a big vessel. Judging by the level of corruption in this country, any ship or vessel that enters Nigeria has some level of authorization which is why they can move uninterrupted.
Don't ever trust the govt, it's only reported illegal if someone wants to be dealth with.
The Curious Case of Joash Amupitan and His Time-Travelling Stalker
Alright, let’s update the official story so it makes more sense.
We are now meant to believe that Joash Amupitan does not own the account tied to his name. Instead, everything is the work of an impersonator.
Not just any impersonator. A time-travelling stalker.
Because that is the only way this explanation holds together.
In 2006, this stalker goes back in time and opens a Yahoo email account in the exact name of Joash Amupitan.
In 2009, when SIM registration starts tightening, the same stalker somehow gets a phone number registered under Joash Amupitan’s identity.
In 2011, WhatsApp launches. Immediately, the stalker links that same phone number and that same email to a WhatsApp account in his name.
Through the 2010s, the identity remains perfectly consistent. Same name. Same phone. Same email. No mistakes.
Around 2020, fintech becomes mainstream. The stalker opens an OPay account. Same details. Same identity. Still no errors.
Then in 2022, an X account appears. Again, tied to the exact same ecosystem of email and phone number.
But the stalker does not stop at digital platforms.
At some point, they also manage to align this same identity with official academic records, linking it to Joash Amupitan’s role at the University of Jos.
So this is the story:
One person, moving across nearly two decades, carefully building and maintaining a flawless digital identity for Joash Amupitan across email, telecom registration, messaging apps, financial platforms, and institutional records.
No inconsistencies. No breaks. No deviation.
Just a perfectly synchronized identity trail.
All to impersonate him because this time traveler knew that in 2025 he would become the INEC Chair and his enemies would try to frustrate him.
At that point, it is no longer impersonation. It is long-term identity authorship.
So yes, if this explanation is what we are going with, then “time-travelling stalker” is actually the most reasonable part of the story.
In the meantime, On Bola Tinubu's Mandate We All Stand.
Yes, the account joashamupitan existed on X. It belonged to Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan (current INEC chairman, account ID 1567086242164101120, created September 2022). He changed the username to Sundayvibe00 today (now protected and labeled "Parody Account") after 2023 pro-APC posts resurfaced. X username history is verifiable via the account ID.
Fuck GEJ
Fuck Atiku
Fuck Peter Obi
Fuck Amaechi
Fuck Malami
Fuck Kwankwaso.
Fuck all you opposition leaders who can’t put behind your personal ambitions and come out to fight this govt.
Fuck you all !!!
Nigeria is the only place where you pay a 10% agency fee and a 10% legal fee for a house the agent didn't build and a contract they didn't write.
On a ₦3M house, you are losing ₦600,000 before you even turn the key. That’s enough to buy a small solar inverter.
The real estate middleman is the single greatest drain on the Nigerian middle class. We need a digital revolution to cut the commission parasites out of the equation.
The issue is trust.
Nigerians don't trust the government with the power to spend their taxes properly on their behalf
I see you posted a paycheque showing how much Nigerians in Canada pay in taxes. Okay, does Canada buy SUVs for its legislators? Does it hide the line-by-line allocation to its National Assembly?
Between the National Assembly and the Presidency, we don't have a credible copy of the tax bill, yet you expect Nigerians to pay these taxes?
The taxes Nigerians have already paid, how did you spend them? For the first half of 2025, you allocated 3% to CAPEX, three per cent of the entire collected cash!!!! Yet, you preach as if the congregation is deaf
No one likes to pay taxes, but in the West, after taxes are paid, schools and ERs function, and police respond to 911 calls without charging for fuel.
You want Western-style taxes? Be transparent on taxes like the West

Question for everyone in the body of Christ:
Can Acts of Service in/to/for the church directly replace worship in the presence of God?
Example: if one spends entire church hours keeping the church car park orderly, would that Act be counted as worship for them in heaven?
