Here is an interesting statistic from mock trial headquarters: in the playoffs the team representing the petitioner has won 50% (7 matches) and the team representing the respondent has won 50% (7 matches).

Some context regarding today's Suffolk County High School mock trial semi-final match between Ward Melville & @BayShoreHS - this is the 4th time in 5 years they are matched up in the playoffs - the last 3 matches were for the County Championship which they split 2-1. @BayShoreMT
