I know it sounds dramatic, but at the beginning of this week I thought I’d have to put my horse down and now there’s a chance we’ll be able to keep her comfortable for longer 🥹
The vet wants to try to up Ladybug’s pain meds before we make any decisions and honestly I’m glad he said that. It won’t fix her, but if we can keep her comfortable and get some weight on her we should be able to keep her around for longer.
There’s nothing quite like people on Facebook suggesting a patience pole or putting on hobbles and “letting him figure it out” for a horse who paws when tied or paws when he sees food coming.
