Apparently the Irish never did anything for the Jewish people, when his countrymen was passing laws to to stop them from entering the UK, meanwhile in Ireland.
When Ireland enacted its new Constitution (Bunreacht na hÉireann) in 1937, it included a progressive and unique provision that explicitly protected and recognized the Jewish community.
​This was highly significant given the era; while Nazi Germany and other European nations were actively stripping Jewish people of their rights and citizenship, Ireland chose to enshrine the Jewish faith directly into its fundamental law.
​The primary provisions were laid out in Article 44,

@PodTims The fact that this story is lingering without being addressed by the club shows new levels of contempt for the supporters. They don't give a fuck about us - we knew that - but even from a PR point of view, this is pretty shameful.
