The terms:
Price: locked at $0.000667, referenced against current XDC network pricing, held for two weeks from this announcement.

Bonus: 60% for purchases under $10,000 USD. 100% for purchases of $10,000 USD or more.

Why the tiering: we want a structure that rewards larger commitments without shutting out smaller ones. If you're weighing where you land relative to the $10,000 threshold, that's worth factoring into your decision.

Why we're doing this
Two main reasons.
• First, we want the legacy ERC-20 and XRC-20 reserves in community hands before the bridge and the listings go live, not sitting in Foundation-controlled wallets.

• Second, this ties directly into governance: selected DC holders will gain the ability to vote by burning ERC-20 and XRC-20 DC, a two-factor governance mechanism designed to put real weight behind community decisions on Datachain Rope, not just symbolic participation.

What happens if the reserve isn't fully distributed by July 20
We've had this question from more than one of you, and it deserves a straight answer: we don't have one yet. The treatment of any remaining undistributed reserve after July 20 has not been finalized. We don't have a plan B, only the plan A. This is the way. However, we will not let that milestone pass without communicating a clear decision to the community, but we're not going to guess at one now to fill space in this email.
