The Cabinet has resolved to cancel all entertainment for 15 days. Concerts, parties, dances, singing events, fashion shows, sports entertainment, etc. are all prohibited! Civil servants, state enterprise employees, and all government agencies will mourn by wearing black clothing for 30 days. The private sector and the general public are requested to wear appropriate mourning attire to express their grief.
Practice Guidelines
Regarding the one-year mourning period:
Loy Krathong Festival:
This should be held according to local traditions, such as making merit, offering alms, practicing Dhamma, and listening to sermons, according to local customs.
Excluding the Nang Noppamas beauty pageant and concerts. Celebrations, such as the lighting of fireworks, rockets, and sparklers, should be done with caution and in appropriate locations with government permission.
The Kathin Festival will be considered appropriately. "Only entertainment or entertainment activities will be prohibited."
However, traditional events can still be held. The Royal Kathin Robe Offering Ceremony will involve setting up a table and offering royal regalia, as usual, with the opening ceremony of a flower krathong, offering incense and candles, and the royal anthem.
