Reality Check is continuing - we’ll be doing as much fact-checking as ever, online and on TV and radio.
But we’ll be focusing on tweeting from bigger BBC accounts than this one - like @BBCNews, @BBCWorld and @BBCPolitics - so more people see our journalism.
This account is no longer being updated - thanks for following us

False and misleading claims about voting and counting in #USElection battleground states continue to spread:
❌ Votes cast in Wisconsin outnumbered those registered to vote - FALSE
❌ Arizona ballots are invalidated if you use a Sharpie pen - FALSE

When challenged, he admitted there was “no evidence of fraud at this stage” in this US election
In the UK, the Electoral Commission says there is no evidence of large-scale electoral fraud.
On the US election, Nigel Farage said: “The evidence for voter fraud from postal voting is there for all to see, we know it ourselves on our side of the pond”
There have been isolated cases in the US in the past, but studies have shown it is very rare.

Trump has falsely claimed victory in the US election. “We already have won it” he says. But there are millions of votes still to be counted in battleground states and the balance could tip either way.

Conservative MP Laura Trott said: “We’re up to 500,000 tests a day”.
On 2 November, labs had capacity for 521,016 tests to diagnose coronavirus (the number that could - in theory - be processed)
But the number actually processed was less than half this - 207,817.
In our fact-check of US election claims:
❌No evidence ballot error in Ohio shows a “rigged election”
❌2020 ballots are not “being dumped” in California
❌False claims about body doubles

This is the second time Facebook has removed a post from Trump over coronavirus misinfo👇
And both his comments about flu and not fearing Covid have fuelled false claims in Facebook groups that the pandemic is not real or serious! As well as outrage.
My latest @BBCWorld
President Trump has tweeted comparing influenza to coronavirus, saying sometimes over 100,000 people a year die from flu in the US. But @CDCgov estimates show there have been no years in the last decade with that many deaths. The most was 61,000 for the 2017/18 flu season.
"I can't give you those figures."
Prime Minister @BorisJohnson has said he is unable to give any figures regarding how many people have not yet been traced, after nearly 16,000 positive #COVID19 cases were lost due to a computer glitch.

Boris Johnson said in a TV interview that people told to self-isolate would get: "£500 if you do, per week".
That's wrong.
The Test and Trace Support Payment of £500 - for those on lower incomes in England who have to self-isolate - is a one-off lump sum not a weekly payment.
The Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage) – which reports to the government – has highlighted the general risk of venues serving alcohol.
We asked @DHSCgovuk for the evidence behind the 10pm cut-off in England, but it hasn't provided it.

Boris Johnson was asked on #MarrShow what the scientific evidence was for 10pm pub closing
He said: “one of the things that has been put to us is that by curtailing the hours you can reduce the transmission"
We haven't been able to find any specific scientific advice about this.
