I think the Celtics have a genuine interest in acquiring Giannis, but are keeping it quiet out of respect for Jaylen Brown.
Based on Brad Stevens’ end-of-season comments about the team’s roster needs, it would be reasonable for Boston to explore a trade for the Bucks star.
Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t as fondly to a trade to the Heat because of what the roster would look like after a trade, per @sam_amick.
Miami would likely have to gut their roster in order to make a trade that would appeal to the Bucks, and that situation would feel like Milwaukee all over again for Giannis.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has questions about what the Heat roster would look like after a potential trade, per @sam_amick
“You don’t want to gut your roster and go to the place you’re excited to be in and have a hard time contending for a championship”

@levcoffeeburner Yes it’s dumb you’re allowing the defense to take you out the game no elite player does that they either give the ball up and get it right back or move for a better shot like curry, or split it / blow around the double like sga, shoot over it etc you’re excusing passive play
@levcoffeeburner Oh ok so just allow their gameplan to work and get the ball out of your hands and allow everyone but you to beat them right? Feeding into exactly what they want. When you know doubles are coming you have to have a counter for it not just give the ball up and let the defense win
