Thanks to @CMS_law@CPA_London for inviting me to speak on the City’s Policies which impact onto the built environment. A great buzz in the room as we explored Destination City, sustainability impacts on transport and how the built environment attracts growth in the tech sector.
I sat in a planning meeting yesterday where Councillors opposed to young people living in the City wasted 2 hours claiming new student accommodation couldn’t be built as the rooms didn’t get enough light and the local food was too expensive.

Attending Civility in Politics Awards, a contrast to the conduct of Net Zero debates on social media. Pleased to see David Amess MP honoured. The last MP I hosted @cityoflondon and consummate exponent of polite disagreement in public life before his was cruelly taken away.
