Hearing some rumblings that St. John’s recruitment pursuit of Keyshawn Hall has gone cold of the recent days as they evaluate other possible options. This could put Kentucky back in prime position to add Hall, but I’m aware of concerns that the UK staff has with Hall.

I’ve seen some discourse of Ryan Hampton potentially reclassing with his announcement on Sunday. This is not the case. The word is he will be transferring to Bella Vista Prep to play alongside 5⭐️ Kentucky target, Paul Osaruyi.

@KkinggJjamess At the end of the day, Kohler will most likely get eligibility first through the California injunction, and Kentucky is right there with BYU. If Mitchell and Kohler were hypothetically cleared on the same day, we would take Mitchell.

Starting to monitor the Mark Mitchell recruitment a little more closely now….

Kentucky firmly in the mix with Hall, Mitchell, & Kohler still….. but the Hall recruitment isn’t going as quickly as I once expected, directly due to Mark Mitchell.

@OtisH45 If we don’t take Hall for whatever reason, I think that 20% number for Kohler will skyrocket. Just not confident in it yet, but sources are all over the place.

Might not hear much more news today so I’ll just give a basic overview of where I’m at on each of our priority targets:

Hall: 80% UK - 20% Field (SJU, LSU, etc.)

Kohler: 65% BYU - 20% UK - 15% Field

Mitchell: 40% LSU - 35% Mizz - 25% UK

Hall has the best case for eligibility

Pope & Co kicking tires yesterday conducting a Zoom Call with Minnesota F Cade Tyson. Obviously another shooter with positional versatility. Not sure how serious UK is with Tyson right now compared to Hall, but I will monitor the situation.
