@GoldGloveTV Have you left the Lesser Zone? That is basically a long tutorial area, the story, weapons, and enemies all get way more interesting the longer you play. And artifact hunting is rewarding as hell.

I’ve been running / playing a lot of pathfinder 2e lately. Yes it’s more complex than DnD by a lot, but that’s…. Okay! I’m loving all the character customization and flavor. Granted, the Foundry VTT pathfinder 2e system does most of the tedious work making it amazing.

@SquirrelBryan I can’t think of any systems that do this on their own. You would probably just have to do a modified West Marches type game using the system of your choice as the bones.

@SquirrelBryan @oracleplant If you speed up the finishing timea# at risk of a quirk, you reduce the items cost by double the amount you would normally from the earn income table. So using this, you save roughy 25% total gold then buying the item outright.

A legendary crafter no longer needs 4 days minimum to make a dagger and can do so now in a matter of hours.

@SquirrelBryan @oracleplant Then you can reduce the finishing time (doubling the gold per day) by making a flat check. If you fail, it still works at the cost of gaining a quirk. I like this because quirks are just that, quirks. They add a fun neutral side effect that doesn’t ruin the Item.
