On the train home after a fantastic day with @UCL_Holocaust - lots of new ideas to implement in my teaching of the Holocaust. Looking forward to hopefully working with the centre a lot more in the future! #CPD#alwayslearning
A really interesting day today visiting @NghsEnglish ... thank you for being so welcoming. Looking forward to continuing to work together. You are most welcome to visit us!
Big thank you to @ErcallWoodPE for allowing me to come and visit today. Got some great ideas and resources to take back to @BurtonBorough. The students were a real credit to your school.
Over the moon to have receive my feedback and passed my think piece with the @ssat leadership legacy programme. It was very honoured to be nominated and allowed an opportunity to grow and develop beyond a classroom teacher. Thank you @KrissiCarter @BurtonBorough#SSATLLP
Listen out for me being interviewed tomorrow morning on Sky News about our work with wellbeing. I think it is live at https://t.co/jX1nN8UNwx. Very excited! @BurtonBorough
So honoured to have received a Certificate of Excellence after being nominated by my students for 'The 2019 Award for Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School'. What a great start to my Monday! #PearsonNationalTeachingAwards
We ended the day with a memorial service led by a Rabbi, who sang in Hebrew and helped us to reflect on our experience. What an incredible day with the @HolocaustUK#teacherCPD
The second part of yesterday’s visit; Birkenau. The scale of the camp was incomprehensible and that infamous gateway was so imposing on the horizon. #LessonsFromAuschwitz
We’ve stopped off at the closest town to Auschwitz I, only 5 minutes away. The last two pictures show the site of the Great Synagogue, which was burnt down by the Nazi party when they occupied Poland in 1939. #LessonsfromAuschwitz
