Today in the Ethics Committee, Conservative MP Aaron Gunn -@AaronGunn called out the Liberals’ $1.45 billion BC condo developer bailout for exactly what it is.

He ripped into the generational inequity of taking tax dollars from young people still trying to enter the housing market and handing huge sums to developers who have already made billions. He pointed out that this creates no new housing. It simply rewards the people who built overpriced condos that normal families cannot afford.

Gunn said it is bad economic policy. Unethical. Immoral. Wrong.

He is correct.

This is not about helping young Canadians get homes. It is about protecting the connected developers and their political friends. The Liberals shut down any real investigation before it could start.

British Columbia families are paying the price while the same people who helped create the housing mess get bailed out.

Nevermind that the example he came up with makes no sense but the alarming part is that there are thousands of condo units are in a fire sale.

In a recent YouTube video, Mark Carney had a confession to make: he will not meet Liberal emissions targets.

At least he was honest about that.

So, let's be honest about this: he pretends phasing out oil and gas was someone else's idea.

For a decade he was the worldwide CEO of the idea. He built his entire persona around Net Zero.

He claimed fossil-fuel-caused climate change was an "existential crisis", which in plain English means the world could end.

He was the UN's Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance where he recommended 65% of oil and gas should stay in the ground.

As Trudeau's Economic Advisor, he advised bigger and broader carbon taxes than even Trudeau had imposed.

He founded a banking alliance with the mandate to starve oil and gas of investment.

At Brookfield, his job was to use his political influence to get government handouts for his "green" investments (heat pumps, pricey "green" aviation fuel, etc.).

He made fortunes off an agenda that inflated costs and killed jobs for the working class around the world.

He didn't inherit this ideology. He built it. He milked it.

Now, he claims he changed his mind. Really? So, it’s no longer an existential crisis? Was he wrong for last decade?

If so, why go on hiking the industrial carbon tax by 500%?

Why has he not scrapped a single Trudeau-era anti-development law?

Why are 500 projects still waiting for federal approval?

Why has he not used his unprecedented powers in Bill C-5 to approve a single project?

Because it is all an illusion.

It was always about enriching the club. And it still is.

He will sound the alarm on new crises. The solution will be the same: heavy-handed, top-down crony capitalism—taxes, inflation, and debt for you, and handouts, bailouts, and carve-outs for the Liberal club. All to save us from the latest crisis.

The only way to change any of this is with a party that has been saying the same thing all along: get the government out of the way; free our businesses from all carbon taxes, red tape, and subsidies to unlock abundant, affordable energy. For Canada. For you.

How do I know that the climate *crisis* is a scam?

Here are five reasons:

1️��� None of the politicians, celebrities, or “scientists” yammering about it have altered their lifestyles by an inch. If they opted to forgo using O&G products, then I’d take them seriously. Actions speak louder than words.

2️⃣ Climate conferences aren’t being held virtually on Zoom using their large meeting extensions. It’s doable, they just choose not to. They like to fly overseas to lecture us about reducing our “carbon footprint” all the while they do nothing to lower their own.

3️⃣ Wealthier alarmists are still living on or buying oceanfront property. If ocean levels were really rising at a catastrophic rate (as opposed to the gradual increase that is actually occurring), then they would move inland and banks would not approve loans.

4️⃣ Alarmists rarely, if ever criticize China and India, and they always come up with all sorts of wonderful excuses as to why those nations get a free pass to continue emitting so-called “carbon pollution.”

5️⃣ The only solutions they offer involve increased governmental power. Higher taxes. EV mandates. Restrictions or bans on the energy sectors they don’t like.

And, as an added bonus, no real-world data proves, much less suggests that we are facing an “existential crisis.” Even the IPCC doesn’t use such rhetoric because it isn’t based on science.
