@gtconway3d It’s a mistake to attribute these kinds of statements (views, policies, ideas, beliefs) to the intellect/knowledge of officials (also: pundits, contributors, advisors, appointees). A baited response to a decades old strategy that obscures willful ignorance/nefarious intent.

@RUOmism With that monetary ‘freedom,’ as well as the resources & access, one could more fully commit to a ‘philosopher’s life.’ I’d consider advancing humanity/technology/Earth beyond consumerism, a pivotal pursuit; also, deepening the knowledge of mind/consciousness/existence.

Great shows - personable/friendly presentation & earnestness in sharing philosophic #enlightenment (occasional ‘sophic’ pitfalls) each episode. Philosophizing is far more prescient in experience/life; & albeit pretentious-ish, a lovely recasting of ‘too-much/overthinking’

Remembering that sociopaths are intelligent & charismatic, helps quite a bit — then, just focus on your being charismatic, until the worry is gone... forget the first part, run from the truth 🥸

@RUOmism Happiness must be pursued; & continually ‘added to’... in doing, the mind is becomes evermore open—vulnerable. Sadness relates to something familiar; in resolution, the mind is led back to itself — &, if done right, a sense of rest/contentment (or else, distraction).

@RUOmism Yea; As well as the influence of their environment (+ experience, in some species). Humanity is regulated & influenced in many of the same ways... we’ve also progressed away from nature/a natural state, in the complications brought about by our perception of time/space.
