Patrick Smith found this ship's block on Nehalem Spit in Tillamook County in 1896. The Santo Cristo de Burgos was a Spanish galleon used to transport goods between Asia and Mexico. It is currently in the "Horner Highlights" exhibition at the Corvallis Museum. #Oregon #ORhistory

Marys River Quilt Guild's 2023 raffle quilt "Stars All A-Round" is currently at the Philomath Museum. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. The 105” x 105” was pieced by members of the Round Robin group and quilted by Vikki Mahaffey. Pattern by Nancy Rink, Amish with a twist.
