@giselle_diaz@lit_lynx Exactly, he acted like there was no way he could've gone back and fixed things but he had the power to do that. He could've saved so many people
@lit_lynx What happened to Abigail that made her this way? Did she just get caught up in the hysteria? The first scene in the appendix makes it seems like she truly believes what she's saying but she seems out of it at the same time #LynxAmLit#ShesCrazy
@giselle_diaz@KarleeKoester@lit_lynx Honestly, John and Elizabeth were two of the only characters I ended up liking. The development of their relationship and John's character made the story way better.
@lit_lynx It's super frustrating that Danforth refuses to go back on his position simply for the sake of stubbornness and pride. There were so many people who could've been saved had he allowed a postponement to look further into the matter #LynxAmLit#Danforth
@lit_lynx So why do the accused women confess to being witches? I know they would get hanged for "lying" in court but they'll be hanged if they do confess anyways so what's the point? #Confusing#LynxAmLit
@Rolando56979191@lit_lynx I wonder if Abigail told Marry Warren to put the needle in the doll for that purpose. Also, what kind of crazy person sticks a whole needle in their stomach?? #LynxAmLit#ThatHadToHurt
@lit_lynx That awkward moment when the Salem courts want to arrest 91 people for "examination" because they spoke out in defense of the accused women #LynxAmLit#TheCrucible
@MollyHi93381329@giselle_diaz@lit_lynx Exactly. He's so angry that Elizabeth is still mad and suspicious about it when he was the one in the wrong and is STILL lying to her about being alone with Abigail. #PoorElizabeth
@lit_lynx So you're telling me that Reverend Hale just wants Francis Nurse and Giles Corey to sit back and relax while their wives are tried and most likely going to be hanged for witchcraft? Is he crazy? #LynxAmLit#MarthaCorey#RebeccaNurse
@lit_lynx I wonder how the Puritans would function in today's society if they thought that even simply dancing was a horrible sin? #overreacting#Puritanism
@Rolando56979191@trinn_05@lit_lynx I think blaming others was also a way to take out their anger in a way that was accepted in their society. They didn't want to be punished for expressing their frustration in other ways so witchcraft was the go-to if your neighbor made you mad.
@Eriirodriguez9@lit_lynx Exactly she totally lied about what they were doing in the woods then started threatening the other girls if they told on her. I wonder if she's responsible for what happened to Betty.
