@TheRhetorRick I don't disagree but unclear on the baptizing part. At what point do the baptisms begin? Upon profession of faith of citizens? But how is that different from now?
“The gospel is not ‘believe that Christ died for everybody’s sins, and therefore yours,’ any more than it is ‘believe that Christ died only for certain people’s sins, and so perhaps not for yours.’ The gospel is ‘believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for sins, and now offers you himself as your Savior.’ This is the message which we are to take to the world. We have no business to ask them to put faith in any view of the extent of the atonement; our job is to point them to the living Christ, and summon them to trust in him.”

@MysteryGrove I know firsthand that the Bass people are pushing for Pratt and that they feel a bigger head-to-head threat comes from Raman. Could be a miscalculation, but that is still how they are figuring it.

@myth_pilot Those 3 against the wall are TSA agents. They operate mags when the SS UD is spread too thin. There is at least 1 more TSA in that pic as well.
@JGilliam_SEAL@AriFleischer Any WH staffer who has sat through 100s of countdown meetings and does everything side-by-side with the lead advance would actually be very well trained in USSS advances protocols. Expert levels, in fact. Maybe they can't shoot or run, but they'd know all about securing a site.
@JGilliam_SEAL@AriFleischer Ari has stayed at enough POTUS RON's and sites to know what he's talking about. He's spot on. WH Staff know the USSS protocols and procedures very thoroughly.
@bennyjohnson If we are just pulling speculation out of our butts, I'd wager that the 4 hypothetical gunmen would have gone down in the same vicinity as the actual shooter....1 escalator ride, 2 hallways, and a ballroom away from the President.
@bennyjohnson I would just like to inform DumDum that the mags are being taken down because admission is over. Yes, the event is just starting and anybody showing up now is told to take a hike, too late. You only keep mags open if people are coming into the event.
@RDog861 Training hasn't changed. Just witnessing a disconnect between training and a real life situation with actual stress. Eye/muzzle disconnect is always a no-no.
