One of the major causes of global anemia is hookworm disease. After several decades of research our @TexasChildrens @BCM_TropMed published the results of our hookworm anemia vaccine in @TheLancetInfDis to show close to 100% protection. The problem now is like our low cost Covid vaccine that reached 100 million people, we need a vaccine producer to roll the dice with us & invest a modest amount to scale up production and distribute the vaccine. We’re not looking to make a dime ourselves, we’re in this to help humanity, ever since I did my MD PhD in New York in the 1980s. That’s it, our Lancet paper attached to this tweet
