We’re proud that our Year 8 girls were among 500+ students from across Greater Manchester attending Manchester’s MEGA summer tech festival at Freight Island last week. A fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI, cyber security, digital creativity and robotics. 👏💻

Earlier this week, our wonderful linguists met with Mr Higgins to celebrate success in Language Fest NW, the Oxford German Olympiad and the Anthea Bell Young Translators Competition. Students showed fantastic creativity describing their favourite foreign words and phrases.

Last Thursday, our Year 9 Language Ambassadors took part in their annual trip to Burnley Brow Primary, where they delivered meticulously planned French& German lessons, teaching Years 3-6 about colours, numbers, greetings and traditional food! Well done to all, you were amazing!

We're delighted to share that Charlie recently completed his work experience with Oracle Red Bull Racing at Silverstone. Working alongside the team in the garage and supporting a tyre test, Charlie gained a fantastic insight into life at the highest level of motorsport!

31 Year 7/8 girls took part in the Oldham Schools' Rugby Festival last week and our A Team finished runners-up, missing out on 1st place by just one try in the final game.
For many, it was their first competitive rugby experience, and they were exceptional. Exciting times ahead!

BRONZE MEDALISTS IN THE NATIONAL FINALS! 🥉 Our U13 girls finished 3rd in the country at the National Handball Finals last week! They battled through the top 16 schools, narrowly missed out in the semi's, but smashed the bronze playoff. After less than a year of playing - WOW!
