🚨New Video Release🚨
What is money??
We use money every day.
We trade our time, our trust, and our freedom for it.
But how often do we stop to ask… what is money?
Also available on my YouTube channel.
@Rajatsoni While I agree with the sentiment, saying “nobody” discounts so many of the plebs out here stacking with every ounce of energy they can muster in an attempt to exit an extractive system and could deter those looking to get off zero 🤷♂️
Very well put. Couldn’t agree more. I was grateful to connect and reconnect with plebs from around the world in Vegas. They certainly did not lack soul.
But parts of the conference felt increasingly corporate, and that seemed to crowd out some of the things I love most about Bitcoin culture.
Watching a new monetary system emerge in real time is a strange experience.
In hindsight, it will all seem obvious.
But standing in the uncertainty, learning and growing alongside others, and watching something this consequential take shape feels living through history.
I’m so tired today. Stayed up late to watch game 3 of the NBA Finals just so I could see Ben Stiller be as disappointed as I am after watching his movies.
@AdamSimecka Agree to disagree. He added nothing. The movie may have been good, but he annoys the heck out of me in any role.
I saw he was a producer on Severance, that was a banger.
I hope we can remain digital friends.
The people who have stuck around Bitcoin, HODLd, fought their time preference demons, etc. have a certain quality to them. Openness, ability to live with a certain ego death, have differing opinions, even empathy because many of us have traveled a similar path. There is also the lust for life, experiences, and desire to create. It’s obviously easier to be around people who are interested in the same things, but Bitcoiners are built different.
You thought you were learning about money.
Then you realize you’re learning about incentives.
Then psychology.
Then history.
Then power.
Then yourself.
Many assume knowledge is the accumulation of answers. In my experience, it’s the gradual demolition of assumptions you didn’t know you were carrying.
