🎮 El 9 de junio podría convertirse en uno de los días más importantes de la historia reciente de Destiny.

No por una expansión.
No por una nueva raid.
No por un tráiler.

Sino porque miles de jugadores quieren demostrar algo que llevan años defendiendo:

Destiny no es solo un videojuego.

Es una comunidad que lleva más de una década luchando, cayendo y levantándose junta.

Durante años, los jugadores han invertido tiempo, dinero y emociones en este universo. Han vivido momentos inolvidables, han hecho amistades, han superado raids imposibles y han estado ahí en los buenos y en los malos momentos.

Y ahora muchos sienten que la franquicia que ayudaron a construir está perdiendo protagonismo mientras Bungie centra gran parte de sus esfuerzos en Marathon.

Por eso se está organizando un inicio de sesión masivo el próximo 9 de junio.

El objetivo no es solo llenar los servidores.

El objetivo es enviar un mensaje.

Un mensaje que no pueda ignorarse.
Un mensaje basado en números.
Un mensaje que diga:

“Seguimos aquí.”

Porque al final, las comunidades son las que mantienen vivos los videojuegos.

No los gráficos.
No las campañas de marketing.
No los anuncios.

Las personas.

Y Destiny tiene una de las comunidades más apasionadas que ha visto esta industria.

Ahora os pregunto:

Si Bungie tuviera que elegir dónde invertir más recursos en el futuro…

¿Apostaríais por seguir expandiendo Destiny o creéis que Marathon es realmente el camino correcto para el estudio?

Tengo la sensación de que el 9 de junio no será simplemente una prueba de servidores.

Será una declaración de intenciones.

Y pase lo que pase después, demostrará una cosa:

Hay franquicias que venden millones.

Y luego están las franquicias que consiguen que sus jugadores sigan luchando por ellas después de 10 años.

Quiero leer vuestra opinión.

The Destiny 2 community has now reached 300,000 verified signatures calling on Sony to continue the Destiny franchise with a new project rather than let it come to an end.

Reaching this milestone is a powerful statement from a community that deeply cares about this franchise and does not want to see it end.

Many players have expressed that if some of the updates we're about to receive had arrived sooner, Destiny might be in a very different position today. Others believed they could take a break and return once Bungie found its footing, only to be met with the news that major game updates were ending with no new long-term plan announced.

If you'd like to be part of this movement, please consider signing the petition and helping send a clear message to Sony leadership on behalf of the Destiny community.
