@MaxVolMusic@jethrotull Good to know - I’ll try and get to a show. There are some fan resale tickets around for the Bristol date, which is the most likely.
@thewarrenhaynes It was this album that started off my interest in your career and ultimately to the years of Govt Mule and your solo career. I always thought this was a terrific album with lots of great songs- the first half of the album is particularly strong IMO. Hope the reissue does well.
@AndyMaxVolume@waltertrout@kks_steelmill I hadn’t seen these dates get announced. I’ve been trying to see him for the past few years but the local dates never worked. Gloucester for us the night after your show. His albums have been uniformly great since his illness - should be a good night.
@TheLunaticVibes I’ve got this on CD but there is a vinyl copy in my new stash. It needs a good clean but I hope it will be ok. One of those albums without a weak track.
@TheLunaticVibes Bristol for us. Happy to hear the 2nd album given a play through but I still feel short-changed that we haven’t had the Blast Tyrant tour.
@TheLunaticVibes@greenlungband@nuclearblast My CD arrived yesterday & I’ve played it twice. Not quite as ‘immediate’ as the last one but still very good & I suspect it will get even better with more plays.
@Cathy2NotToday Hi from the U.K. Interested to know - does the home owner policy in the US cover both the building and the contents? They are usually separate in the U.K. but we have a combined policy for a lot of cover at about half of your cost,so I’ll stop moaning that it was expensive.
@TheLunaticVibes If you really like this one I’d look to Dio’s recordings elsewhere. Black Sabbath’s Heaven & Hell is as good as Rainbow Rising and not far behind is Dio’s Holy Diver.
