What a ballgame tonight in Philly. First time in our franchise history a game was won, 1-0, where run came via pinch-hit HR - a Manzo oppo blast. His 2nd PH HR of season. Gavin(8IP)/Cade(1) only 4 base runners allowed & 12Ks. Powerful. 7 straight/10 of 11.
Frederick Baker was inducted into the Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame in 1996 for auto racing.
Over an 18-year career from 1972 to 1990, Baker competed in 184 races, winning 88 while adding 30 second-place and 18 third-place finishes.

This morning we said goodbye and celebrated the life of this wonderful man. We feel sorrow for our loss, and gratitude for the joy he brought to so many as the voice of our ballpark for decades. He will be missed. 🙏🏻
One of the most popular exhibits at the Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame gives YOU the chance to call some of Cleveland’s most memorable moments.
Hear from Vice President John Telich as he explains how the exhibit works.
If you crossed paths with Luis Isaac you were a very lucky person. Cared deeply about the game of baseball, and more so about his teammates and players he coached. And a hilarious joke-teller. Loved that man 🙏🏻 https://t.co/MX6EuLOjJu
We remember Luis Isaac who has passed away.
Isaac joined our organization in 1965 as a player and spent the next 43 years serving in the organization either as a player, coach, scout, or minor league manager.

Happy Birthday to 2x Cy Young Award Winner Corey Kluber.
Fun Fact: The day Corey struck out 18 Cardinals was the same day we opened the Bob Feller Exhibit. With the Feller Family in attendance, Kluber tied Bob's record of 18Ks in a 9 inning game.

On This Day in 1993: Carlos Baerga becomes the first player in MLB history to hit a home run from both sides of the plate in the same inning.

Here we go! Opening Day #33 at this beautiful baseball-only ballpark in downtown Cleveland. And OD #126 in our franchise history as a charter member of the American League. What a sight. Hope to see you often at the Carnegie and Ontario in 2026! ⚾️⚾️
Today (March 27) in 1994, with the opener at new Jacobs Field just days away, 4,700 participants made the 3.5 mile trek from League Park to the new ballpark, symbolizing the tie from Cleveland’s American League beginnings in 1901 to the new site.
⚾️ Happy Opening Day! ⚾️ Today begins our 126th season as a charter member of the American League, est 1901. Proud to be one of our city’s
oldest traditions. 8 days until we celebrate our 33rd Home Opener at Progressive Field. How time flies. Magic number 163 😎
