Why do so many of the same names appear on the boards of major defense contractors, think tanks, media outlets, and “pro-Israel” lobbying groups at the same time?

Why does the same network that screams about “foreign interference” when Russia buys Facebook ads go silent when documented, multimillion dollar influence operations from other foreign governments are an open secret in Washington?

Why are there still people with active security clearances who have family, business, or ideological ties to foreign intelligence services, and why is that never a disqualifier the way it would be for almost any other foreign power?

Why does the media that spent years hunting for “collusion” with one country refuse to apply the same forensic standard to another?

Why do presidential candidates of both parties compete to outdo each other in loyalty pledges to a foreign capital before they even finish their loyalty pledges to American workers?

Why is the only bipartisan consensus left in Washington the one that treats criticism of this particular relationship as more dangerous than actual espionage cases that have already happened?
