We gave 180 radiologists an expert-level AI for diagnosis. But instead of improving, their performance didn't budge. 😮

Why? Radiologists implicitly discount AI predictions, favoring their own judgment - a bias we call "automation neglect". 🧠

I taught my first ever research workshop at UCL this summer.
The biggest learning?
Teaching is a great example of instant gratification as compared to Research, which is often (very) delayed gratification.
And the highs of a very interactive session last for a good week. ☺️

During the day, I often take a break from work and go for a stroll at either Crossrail Place Roof Garden or Jubilee Park.
100% It does help streamline my thoughts.
Taking a notebook along during the stroll is always a plus.
