This lineup moves me:

Boozer
Foster
Blackwell
Dame
Pat/Williams

The amount of spacing in this lineup would be absurd. Don’t forget Duke played Winslow in 2015 at the 4 at 6’6. I think Dame would do just fine in a “small ball lineup”

@JAMESFROMMAIDEN I agree, but I think he’ll play spot minutes there when Pat is out. He can shoot. Imagine having 5 guys that can consistently knock down outside shots. I do agree Winslow is stronger but Dame is 2 inches taller and has a longer wing span. Dame should be playing at 200 lbs next yr

Don’t care what kind of take this is, but I much rather have Foster than Rippey on next year team. Senior Guard > Freshman guard any day.

@CooperOshae I agree, im not saying I don’t want Rippey. I’d be sick if he wasn’t on the team next year, I just think having a senior guard like Foster goes a long way. I hope Cayden, Foster, and Rippey are all together. I think that’s the best backcourt in the country.

@anadasky So where is that veteran talent coming from next year if Caleb leaves ? And if you say the transfers then miss me with that bcuz in no world do transfers come in and become the leaders of teams when guys have been there before them. Oldest returning guy next year would be a Soph.

@arrest_jack @drjack24 Each year is different. It’s more about trying to stay ahead of the curve. And right now where Transfers are big, that’s the market. When they adjust the rules, it’ll go back to more Roster building and retention.

2015- Senior guard
2022- Sophomore
2025- Junior

All experienced PG’s. Tell me when Duke went all the way with a freshman guard by himself ?

@drjack24 @arrest_jack Nik isn’t a huge loss, respect him as a player and wish him the best. Losing Foster would hurt. Hes the closest thing we’ve had to a Quinn Cook. I truly believe he can lead us to a Natty.

@cblandreth I would like them to be. Depends on if Sarr comes back and if they can add Blackwell. If Sarr ends up leaving a potential, Boozer, Foster, Blackwell, Williams, Tranfer C really moves me. Look at Florida in 2025. 3 guard lineup.
