Edmonton
We love our drug addicts and hate our taxpayers...
Hey business owner you spent your entire life trying to build, were gonna park 100 addicts in front of your shop to greet customers....
They should make the mayor live there for their term.
Hey Mayor @andrewknack, our city is getting the attention it deserves from you living in an elite liberal bubble.
This is Edmonton. This is what people see when they come here.
188 days until recall.
@jkenney@MichaelSolberg@elonmusk Maybe you should ask Carney to renounce his citizenships and get a Canadian one while he’s at it.
What a stupid comment Jason
You did it again
✅ Mark Evans—who is married to Tania Rotherwick, the sister of Mark Carney's wife Diana Fox Carney—was appointed to the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) Board of Directors on May 9, 2019 by Trudeau and Freeland. It's one big club and we ain't in it.

Danielle Smith was brought to tears today while talking about years of frustration and hurt in Alberta.
“When a proud, hardworking people feel their contribution is taken for granted… some begin to ask a painful question: Does this country actually want us?”
Soon I have to wake up my husband and tell him the 50% tariffs are staying. When he went to bed, we still had hope. Maybe we could survive 25%. Maybe if Keystone got approved, we’d be okay. Now a man who has worked hard for forty years—and fought cancer for the last two—will open his eyes to one more piece of bad news. The politicians will be fine. The government workers will be fine. The entire public sector, cushioned by cost-of-living raises, lifetime benefits, and golden pensions, will be fine. It’s the private sector that will take the hit. And I honestly don’t believe a single Carney supporter—or anyone in the media—either understands that, or cares.
💥 Free speech in Canada after Bill C-9 becomes law:
💥 The Regina Mosque gets approved for Muslim call to prayer.
💥 The Edmonton Police ask you to snitch on people for mean posts.
💥 The Durham Police want to arrest you for boycotting LGBT 🏳️🌈 friendly businesses.
What did I miss?
Update: @edmontonpolice have deleted their tweet about arresting people for offensive online comments.
But the policy remains in place — including their snitch line: https://t.co/nmU7AlxeY9
They’re still doing it.
Edmonton Police have DELETED their viral hate crimes post
They encouraged Albertans to report eachother if they saw posts where people called for deportations or an end to mass immigration
These clowns showed their true colors today and they are dangerous
BREAKING: Edmonton police want Canadians to report their neighbours for having an opinion.
Including those who want deportations.
Whoever at HQ made this doesn’t seem to know the difference between an opinion on public policy and breaking the law
😭
Looks like the Edmonton Police bravely deleted their tweet about prosecuting citizens for offensive jokes.
But just because some intern deleted a tweet doesn’t mean the police have actually abandoned their authoritarian censorship policy.
They haven’t apologized or retracted.
Edmonton Police briefly forgot to close their comments on a post today
These 6 comments were able to get through and they are brutal
These comments are now hidden from public sight
The Edmonton Police don't want you to see this
It gets worse.
Without approval from Parliament, the @edmontonpolice have invented UK-style “non-criminal hate incidents” that they intend to police. Examples include “offensive jokes”.
The Edmonton Police themselves are an offensive joke.
The other thing that really bothers me about this post and then it being deleted is the lack of accountability.
If an ordinary citizen makes a “mistake” involving the law, they cannot simply delete it like it never happened. They must answer for their actions. Public institutions, especially police services, should hold themselves to at least that same standard.
The Edmonton Police Service published this message, encouraged people to report others, and then deleted it without any public explanation, clarification, or apology. That is not accountability.
When public institutions expect a higher standard from citizens than they expect from themselves, public trust is eroded. Accountability must apply equally to everyone, especially by those entrusted with enforcing the law.
