@mroller98@cricinfo Bit of a technicality, but I'd assume Tribe's NOC would have to come from Jersey Cricket unless and until until he actually debuts for England? Be a strange move to switch affiliation from AM to FM before he has to, given the advantages of being an AM player inf Franchiseland...
@GongR1ght@jamilmusman_ CWC League 2 is part of the 2027 Qualifying pathway. It's not the actual World Cup Qualifier though, that's in SA and NAM early next year, and USA have already qualified for it. Also Hassan's not playing today, he's just been called up to the squad as injury cover for Ali Khan.
CWC Qualifier pushed back by four days, new start date Feb 26th next year, with Namibia and South Africa set to co-host. It's the first time in the tournament's 48-year history that it will be split across two hosts.

This one flew under the radar somewhat. Bangladesh are currently playing a warm-up two day game against a (presumably second-string) UAE side at the ICC Academy in Dubai, and have been bowled out for 234.
Very little info readily available. Anyone have a live scorecard?
🇧🇩 Day 1 Ends | Bangladesh were bowled out for 234, while the UAE reached 34/1 at the end of the first day of the two-day Test.

13,000km to have the match abandoned without a ball bowled because of a wet outfield
Qualifier playoff/ILT20 clash now a near certainty for UAE, so Aayan ($95k), Khuzaima ($75k), Ibrar ($46k), Ali Naseer ($40k), Haider ($38k), Dhruv ($10k), Arfan ($10k) all going to be sweating
The UAE's senior men's team is currently in the USA for CWCL2. I've not even been able to find a squad list for this game. Emirates Cricket socials silent.
From memory, this is the most recent multi-day match played by an Associate representative side since Nepal in 2019.
Oh cool the ticket ballot for *All Fixtures* is open.
Gonna get in for those definitely-part-of-the-real-world-cup SUPER SERIES games that are for real part of the tournament and not just there to immediately bin off two qualifiers.
Oh.
Well that's odd.
Much more thanany of the other fudges, this consistent scheduling to give India play-last advantage is genuinely anti-competitive. There is no simply rationale for it other than to repeatedly and predictably give India an unfair advantage.
