❗️❗️Microsoft has confirmed that a limited number of Dell laptops may suffer unexpected shutdowns, higher temperatures, battery drain, and poor performance after installing a recent Windows 11 preview update.

The issue was first reported by Dell during internal testing and later acknowledged by Microsoft on July 14, 2026. It affects devices running Windows 11 version 25H2 and Windows 11 version 24H2 that use a specific Intel driver.

After installing the June 23, 2026 Windows preview update (KB5095093) OS Build 26100.8737, some Dell systems may show a yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager next to the Intel Innovation Platform Framework Processor Participant driver.

Affected machines can experience:

📌 Reduced system performance
📌 Increased heat output
📌 Faster battery drain

Executive McMahon accidentally adopted a bill that sets term limits on his office and the county comptroller, Legislature Chairwoman Watts said on Wednesday.

She called the ordeal confusing. Noting that the legislature received two documents with McMahon's signature. The first adopted the law. The second, just 15 minutes later, vetoed it.

Watts said the county charter permits the adopted measure to be moved to the Onondaga County Board of Elections and eventually onto ballots in November, giving voters the final say on term limits.
