@Unk0TAE but I still keep an eye on this universe and its community, which once gave me a wonderful escape. Work takes up most of my time, but I’ll try to organize myself and find some time to join you all again.
@Unk0TAE Hi my dear friend, thank you so much for your kind words. It truly means a lot that you thought of me. I haven’t posted in a while, but I still keep an eye on this universe and its community, which once gave me a wonderful escape. Work takes up most of my time.
I’ve noticed, both in myself and in the people around me, that too much information creates stress, sometimes very strong for some, and more subtle for others, like in my case. The moment I decide to step away from social media or from sources of information that are actually of little or no real use to me, I quickly start to feel much better. And I see the exact same thing with the people close to me.
This constant flow of information invading our lives creates unnecessary anxiety and fears. Yes, the world is cruel, and we are not all given the same chances, that’s unfortunate. But as human beings, it’s impossible for us to be fully aware of all the suffering in the world without paying a psychological price.
We should absolutely try to reduce suffering in this world, but never at the cost of forgetting ourselves. It is by becoming better ourselves that we can hope to make the world better in return.
