It's not about "taking the high road".
It's about being humble.
Sacrificing some satisfaction of what you really want to do/say for the betterment of the situation.
Don't ruin relationships because of pride.
Struggle is great.
It allows you to get to a deeper part of life.
One that can’t be accessed by just seeking happiness or pleasure.
Struggle often gives our life purpose. A direction to push us.
It gives us an opportunity to better ourselves and others.
Enjoy it.
You don’t build toughness by doing things when you’re excited or motivated.
You build toughness when you do things when your tired, feeling lazy, or unmotivated.
Taking action even in these circumstances builds character.
Many people today are too self absorbed to care about building their character.
It’s a little sad.
So be the person who does care.
Be the person who will focus on treating others and themselves better each day.
Because that’s truly remarkable.
You know what’s sad?
People are so focused on building success for themselves or money for their pockets that nobody is interested in building CHARACTER anymore.
Character is how you treat people, hold yourself, and go about life.
People think they need motivation to succeed.
No. You’ve got it backwards.
Motivation can help but it’s temporary.
You need built in habits that you stick to everyday to keep moving forward.
