Happy 85th birthday to the #Spitfire85

In 1941, residents of Lytham and St Annes raised £6,500 to buy a #Spitfire for the war effort.

There's a replica Spitfire at Fairhaven Lake, installed in 2012 paying tribute to those lost and in particular pilot, Sgt Alan Lever-Ridings.
