@RocketLab@synspective Hey @RocketLab, what's that new green laser for? I don't recall seeing it on your pad before. Is it for visibility measurements? Something else? Looks cool!
Trump's DOJ didn't just go after Don Lemon and Georgia Fort — it even tried to get the names, addresses, and emails of people who WATCHED their YouTube videos.
This is a First Amendment nightmare.
Watch @trevortimm explain.
@DJSnM Scott, @AmyShiraTeitel makes a good case that you're mispronouncing Gemini. She says that NASA, historically, pronounced it differently to make a distinction for their program, ending in an E sound instead of I. How did you decide how you will say Gemini?
The year? 2022. The problem? App-based food delivery drivers don’t earn enough. The solution? Seattle’s PayUp law, promising $26.40 an hour for drivers, before mileage and tips. Sounds like a great idea, with the best of intentions. What could possibly go wrong?
@TeamYouTube, you're failing us. The HFY voice narration category is clogged with AI shit, almost unusable. And now you've demonetized one of the best real human-narrated channels. Fix this. "Starbound HFY" is human narration with AI imagery. They aren't AI slop. Fix this.
The reactions of the #Artemis II astronauts to their photos of the Earth and the moon in the same frame are wholesome. Cannot wait to see these in full resolution, but the sneak peeks look amazing!
If the Artemis II astronauts return and privately describe their experience as "like torture," this is what they're talking about. Who would stop right before the chorus?!??
The Artemis 2 crew is officially awake onboard Orion ‘Integrity.’ Their song of choice this morning? “Pink Pony Club” by @ChappellRoan.
However, the DJ at Mission Control Center Houston didn’t quite let it get to the crew’s favorite part of the song.
Watch/listen:
@CitizenWatchUS took my service order, including model/serial number. I mailed my watch in for a full tune up. They returned it without communication because a 25 year old watch is apparently too old to be serviced. Deeply disappointing. I'm swearing off Citizen watches forever.
This is a short time lapse from last night of the aurora visible in WA. I apologize for the focus being unstable. I was surprised that the camera attempted to refocus between each shot in the series. Still, it was quite the sight to behold.
Need I remind you that the founding fathers of America were by definition "domestic terrorists" and were treated as such by the British government.
Let us not pretend that history is made by polite men writing stern letters.
Liberty is carved from the flesh of tyrants.
Examples include:
- Public torture of government agents.
- Systematic destruction of private corporate assets.
- Armed robbery of the state payroll.
- Piracy on the high seas and burning of naval vessels.
- Seditious conspiracy to overthrow the established regime.
- Theft of military-grade weaponry from state fortresses.
- Proliferation of radical propaganda to incite insurrection.
- Extrajudicial execution of political opponents.
- Flagrant tax evasion.
They utilized violence to achieve a political end, which is the very definition of terrorism, and they were right to do so.
The British Crown was an occupying force imposing its will upon a population that did not consent to its rule. Striking back was not only justified, it was the only moral recourse available to free men.
The British state called them criminals. History might view them as the only ones with the courage to physically stop a murder machine. Violence is a language the state understands fluently, yet they insist their subjects speak only in whispers.
Condemning these actions today merely because the current regime labels them "domestic terrorism" is intellectual cowardice. You are letting the enemy define the terms of engagement.
The current American government makes the British Empire look like a debate society. King George III never dreamed of the surveillance capabilities the NSA possesses today. He did not have the ability to drone strike citizens without trial. He could not seize your assets through civil forfeiture on the mere suspicion of a crime. He could not deplatform you from the public square for speaking the wrong words.
The British Crown wanted taxes and trade. The American regime wants your thoughts, your data, and your total submission. The overreach is total. It penetrates every aspect of life, from the currency you use to the food you eat. We are suffocating under a blanket of regulation and coercion that the colonists never could have fathomed.
Those who side with this government against modern dissidents would have been loyalists in 1776. They would have turned in the Sons of Liberty to the redcoats. They are the same breed of sniveling authoritarian follower, desperate for the approval of power.
These people venerate the founding fathers, they erect statues to them and quote them on social media, yet they lack the spine to live out that sentiment. They cheer for revolution in history books but tremble in fear at the thought of resistance in the real world.
They worship the image of the rebel while obeying the master. It is a profound hypocrisy. They want the aesthetic of freedom without the danger. They want to be counted among the brave while safely tucked in the pocket of the state.
True allegiance to the principles of 1776 requires a complete rejection of the current leviathan. Anything less is betrayal.
