⭐Nursery⭐started Children in Need day with a special Pudsey wake and shake, then had fun making Pudsey biscuits. In our creative area we have been making Pudsey pictures adding spots to his bandana and counting and made great playdough Pudseys #ChildrenInNeed @KLacademytrust

Year 1 visited Newquay Harbour & RNLI lifeboat station. They loved investigating the beach, having sandcastle competitions and climbing the rocks. RNLI invited us to the lifeboat station to try on their equipment and talk about their history. @RNLI @NewquayRNLI @KLacademytrust

Year 1 listened to the story 'Duffy's Lucky Escape' read to them by the author, Ellie Jackson. They investigated some real fish identifying their gills, fins & scales & completed their 'T4W' hook for their new text 'Duffy's Journey' and they made amazing turtles! @KLacademytrust

**YEAR 1**We had a lovely time creating our own number lines. We completed data handling activities, sorting Smarties into colour groups, creating tally charts/bar graphs to represent our findings. We then compared Smarties colours using greater than, less than and equal symbols!
