In a harrowing incident that shakes the conscience of humanity, revealing that despite India's independence, bonded labor persists in many regions, people were subjected to torture and forced into a life of slavery.

12 Members of Dalit families were held captive for two years in a factory that manufactured paper plates; they were forced to work as bonded laborers and denied proper food, often having to consume animal feed.

They were repeatedly jabbed and assaulted with sharp weapons and beaten with rubber belts used in machinery, dogs were unleashed to ensure they could not escape.

The media does not report this distressing story because the accused belong to an upper caste while the victims are Dalits,

The incident took place in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.

Today, at Delhi High Court, the Mother of 3 yo rape victim has alleged that she was threatened by son of accused. She was allegedly shown middle finger by the son of 57 yo accused and then threatened that she will face the same like her 3 yo daughter.

Imagine, this is happening in the capital of country at Delhi High Court with many CCTV cameras recording the act. Many bye-standers including advocates witnessed this act.

Today her petition is listed in the matter of Janakpuri school rape case where mother of child victim has challenged the bail given to the accused with in 5 days of arrest in this POCSO matter.

In last few dates at High Court, the matter has been adjourned multiple times on one pretext or the other taken by accused. (Tareekh par Tareekh).

In the video, a Dalit man calls to rent a room. The owner initially agrees, but the moment he identifies the caller's caste from his surname, he abruptly disconnects the call.

Even today, there are many villages in Madhya Pradesh whose names are based on caste identities, yet no effort is being made to change them.

Casteism operates on multiple levels. In cities, it often appears in subtle and hidden forms, in villages, it is frequently open and unapologetic.

Those who created and perpetuated the caste system should feel ashamed instead of taking pride in a hierarchy that continues to humiliate and exclude millions.

बनारस में राजेंद्र प्रसाद स‍िंह अपने बेटे के ल‍िए दवा लेने जा रहे थे। महानगर बस से सुंदरपुर के ल‍िए बैठे। सीट के ल‍िए एक यात्री से व‍िवाद हो गया। मामला सुंदरपुर चौकी पहुंचा। दरोगा नरेंद्र प्रताप स‍िंह ने यात्री की जेब से 100 रुपए चुराने का आरोप लगाकर राजेंद्र को जेल में डाल द‍िया। जेल में पुल‍िस ने राजेंद्र को इतना प्रताड़‍ित क‍िया क‍ि उनकी मौत हो गई। मामले जी जांच दरोगा राधेश्‍याम को सौंपी गई। राधेश्‍याम ने कहा क‍ि राजेंद्र ने अपने शॉल को फंदा बनाकर आत्महत्‍या कर ली। अगले द‍िन बीएचयू में पोस्‍टमार्टम हुआ। मंडलीय अस्‍पताल के डॉक्‍टर केके जैन ने पोस्‍टमार्टम क‍िया और ���पनी र‍िपोर्ट में बताया क‍ि मौत फंदे की वजह से हुई है। पुल‍िस ने पर‍िजनों को ब‍िना बताये अंत‍िम संस्‍कार कर द‍िया।

राजेंद्र की पत्‍नी ने मानवाध‍िकार आयोग से इसकी श‍िकायत की। मामले की जांच सीबीसीआईडी को सौंपी गई। तत्‍कालीन दरोग नरेंद्र प्रताप स‍िंह को 10 साल और राधेश्‍याम स‍िंह को 6 महीने की सजा हुई है। जानेमाने बाल रोग व‍िशेषज्ञ डॉक्‍टर केके जैन को 5 साल ��ी सजा और 40 रुपए का जुर्माना लगाया है। मामला 29 साल पुराना 1997 की है। अब जाकर फैसला आया है। सोच‍िए हमारा स‍िस्‍टम क‍ितना भ्रष्‍ट और घुना हुआ है।
