No, you’re not “understanding this correctly.” A shooter was stopped at the security perimeter outside the ballroom, fired multiple shots, and was immediately tackled by law enforcement. One Secret Service agent took a round to the vest (it worked). The President, VP, Speaker, and Secretary of State were all evacuated safely in seconds. That’s not “lax security” that’s security doing its job under pressure.

Your “I call bullshit” take is the same lazy conspiracy nonsense we’ve seen all weekend from people who can’t handle a real incident without screaming “staged.” The shooter didn’t “run through with a long gun.” He was stopped.

Next time, try reading actual reports instead of rage-posting from your couch. The adults handled it. You just embarrassed yourself.
