"Most competitive first round in sports" - G.Bettman
*Stanley Cup Playoffs start great and peter out.
*NBA Playoffs start terrible and become more and more compelling. Good teams aren't knocking each other out in Round 1.
playoffs just keep fizzling out after Round 1
Round1 will be a banger no matter the matchups, so should try to preserve those best-on-bests for later rounds
unreal how well the whole Rantanen deal worked out for Carolina
- brought in Hall originally
- second trade brings back Stankoven
- and since CAR didn't spend too big on Necas, could afford Ehlers as a free agent last summer.
Liddle' Glen Gulutzan has let the wonderful fans in the GREAT State of Texas down, where the Dallas Stars CHOKED in round one, and went down in pathetic fashion to the very strong Minnesota Wild. The Wild are led by GREAT AMERICAN Bill Guerin as General Manager, and total patriot John Hynes behind their bench. Sadly, the Dallas Stars chose one of the most OVERRATED people in hockey, Canadian LOSER Jim Nill to lead their charge. Jim hired liddle' Glen Gulutzan, another Canadian degenerate with a lightweight resume and a very greasy physical appearance. Unfortunately for the Stars they have CHOKED very badly again, and should be deeply ASHAMED of themselves. SHAME! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER! NHL PRESIDENT DONALD JOHN TRUMP
