There's an 8-tier color coded shot coverage feedback system for 2K27. The indicator under the shooter maps to the 8 tiers shown here.

That same indicator will also show the attack direction and momentum of the ball handler -- you can use it as a cue to know which way to cut them off as an on-ball defender.

Takeover is interesting this year. There are 5 buckets that level up or down based on how you perform in those buckets. Ratings that correspond to those buckets fluctuate up or down with them. When you max out one of the buckets, the Takeover ability you assign to that bucket pops automatically and times out after a few possessions (varies based on the strength of the Take.) Here are the abilities:
