Hi, My name is Earth Bear! I'm from Mills Haven in Treaty 6 territory and I'm here to learn all about this wonderful land while teaching about reconciliation!

Our grade sixes participated in our Walk to End Violence today to end off our month working with the @Moose_Hide Campaign! We shared our Moose Hide pins and our teachings with our neighbours @MillsHaven! @eips

Did you know it is Moose Hide Month at @MillsHaven? We have so many kids and families who took the pledge to stand up against violence that we ran out of pledge forms! It makes my heart happy to see all the moose hide pins worn at our school! @Moose_Hide @eips

Wow!! This is just part of the mountain of donations the kids @MillsHaven worked so hard to collect from their families and our community! Winter celebrations are the perfect time to practice our 7 Teachings and Red River Cart Teachings and give back! @eips

Donations have been collected from our food drive! @MillsHaven has amazing neighbors! It's cool to be kind! Can't wait to show you on Fri how much we collected! My friends at MHV organized this food drive to practise the 7 teachings. Look at the knowledge they shared! @eips

That's right, @MillsHaven ! I have my Naming Ceremony with Elder Wilson Bearhead on Monday and all of our students are invited! I'm beary excited to find out my new name after three months of learning with you! @CaringSociety @eips

Today grade six had a great presentation from Work Wild about forestry in Alberta. Our presenter shared how they aim for balance and responsible harvesting which sounds a lot like what we learned about having good relationships with nature! @eips @MillsHaven

Look who I met? Dr. James Makokis! He is famous- he is a Cree doctor and he and his partner Anthony WON the Amazing Race!!! He looks great but he should be wearing one of my t-shirts:)

Blake learned all about Spirit Bears in his book and wanted to share! Also thank you to Evan for my excellent crocheted hat, it will surely keep me warm during winter on Treaty 6 land! @MillsHaven @eips
