@RealChapAmerica @MilitaryTimes Some respect for @BasedMikeLee, @glennbeck, etc. but their hyperbole here is telling. LDS wasn't removed: it just stood by itself. If they're Christians and the BoM rings true, why do so few convert from the established church? They bait the uninitiated with their "Christianity."

And kill the hyper-feminine "I I I, me, me, me, Jesus for ME, Jesus is my boyfriend" crap. Men only put up with it because it brought women in; look how far it's gotten us.

@DavidLimbaugh I do think people need to flee CA, WA, NY, etc. - especially if they have kids. That said, we can't just abandon blue states, nor pretend red states are all clear. Think of Cuban ex-pats: they're some of the most outspoken conservatives, both on US and Cuba.

@BasedMikeLee @SecWar Except it wasn't an error, Mike. Followers of Jesus Christ are Christians. Joseph Smith was a heretic. I want all Mormons to find salvation, but Smith and the book of Mormon are stumbling blocks to that end.

@RealChapAmerica @BasedMikeLee Funny how Mormons don't approach you with the book of Mormon or Joseph Smith - they play the "we're Christians just like you!" game to high heaven in public. If the Book of Mormon is so great, why start with the stuff you say went wrong?

@BasedMikeLee Much as I respect you, Mike, I only study God's true Word. I know the origins of Joseph Smith's "revelations," and I've read and studied enough to recognize a fabrication. The Book of Mormon not only fails to comport with the Bible, it is exactly what we are warned against.

Ugg, why can't they just shut up? I'm aware of how doctors will usually advocate murdering the baby in these cases, so maybe they're not the root of evil here, but quit crying when you get hit with the truth. Also, consider doctors' ethical track record before leaning on that...

@Katy_Faust Great unpacking of the anti-marriage crowd's favorite false equivalency. Race is a spectrum; sex very clearly is not. Both points are clearly rational, so it's idiotic to treat them the same. Additionally, gov. arbitrating marriage mostly started to block interracial marriage.

@JDVance Well put, but I'm seeing more talk than action here in rural America - a red state with a governor who talks the same game. Around 500k deportations per year are reported - much more than under Brandon - but a drop in the bucket of the millions who flooded in. We need more.

@SteveDeaceShow Such a great, if bittersweet ending to the movie too. And bagpipes playing Amazing Grace during Spock's internment (I guess you'd call it that). I'm willing to bet before the decade was out, no major Sci-Fi franchise would go anywhere near such Christian connotations.
