I’m about 95% sure I have BPD from extensive research and years of psychiatric evals but I’m going to be a doctor so I can’t get that diagnosis if I don’t want to be discriminated against in my own field 🥴🥴

@getohimes After looking into my national and local laws I’ve finally convinced myself that I could pointedly just not disclose my diagnostic information to employers and schools so I’m much less opposed to move forward with seeking a diagnosis now !

@getohimes It’s really disappointing how much of a negative stigma bpd has. my biggest worries were that if I went for the diagnosis that medical practitioners wouldn’t take me seriously if I was ill bc of so many cases like that as well as getting discredited in my future careers, but
