People who bash celebrities become so brave because they hide behind fake accounts and troll profiles. It’s easy to spread hate and throw insults when there’s no accountability and no real identity attached to their words.
Rumors can make you dislike innocent people. Don't judge people by what others are saying about them. Be wise, get to know them for yourself, then form your own opinion. The one talking to you may be the one you need to stay away from.
When you become a toxic fan, you stop appreciating talent, hard work, and genuine character. Everything turns into competition, insecurity, and unnecessary hate. Supporting someone should never mean tearing others down just to make your favorite look better.
Some people really need to stop treating celebs like fictional characters who only exist for their entertainment and fantasies. They’re still real human beings with private lives, emotions, boundaries, and their own decisions to make.
If you’re no longer a fan of someone, and they didn’t even do anything wrong, then just leave quietly. I don’t get the point of suddenly hating on them, throwing shade, and acting like you never supported or loved them before. The switch-up is always so weird to me, especially when some people go from loudly loving someone to suddenly becoming unnecessarily bitter for no reason at all.
so many fanwars happen because people treat their own assumptions like facts and run with them. the idols are simply out there focusing on their work, yet somehow they always become the target of hate over narratives fans created in their own heads
@adhdominican@pipa1911 Please, for the love of God, don't start another feature rumor.
It's bad enough that someone started the "EPA has a feature" rumor and everyone refused to listen when told otherwise.
Is it required to become toxic just because you’re a fan of a celebrity? Supporting someone should never mean spreading hate, attacking others, or losing respect for people with different opinions. You can admire your favorite artist wholeheartedly without becoming rude, obsessive, or disrespectful online. Real support shows in how you carry yourself, not in how toxic you can be.
Do your job as a fan. Support your fave, appreciate them, respect their boundaries, and enjoy their work. But never let admiration turn into obsession, entitlement, or disrespect toward other people.
Disliking a celebrity is one thing, but going out of your way to ruin their image, spread things about them, and act like they personally did something to you, when they don’t even know you exist, is something else entirely.
Because fandoms nowadays spend more time obsessively hating on other celebs than supporting and appreciating the celebrity they claim is their ‘fave.’ Everything has become so competitive, miserable, and negative for no reason.
there are so many celebrities I can’t stand but no one on here would ever know because I don’t sit on my phone all day tweeting about how much I hate them. people who do that that are mentally unwell
Criticizing celebrities has become so normalized that some people forget they’re talking about real human beings. You can dislike a celebrity without being cruel, disrespectful, or acting like your opinion gives you the right to insult them personally. Constructive criticism is one thing, but constant negativity says more about the person speaking than the celebrity being criticized.
