As we have tragically seen in LA & NY, blanket policies & $0 bail are dangerous. Pretrial release should be based on: facts of the crime, prior record, public safety, safety of the victim, prior FTA’s & bench warrants. Innocent victims should not be lost in the name of “reform.”
