And so it began!

[Liverpool Beatles Museum @beatlesmuseum_]

On this day 64 years ago, Ringo Starr gave his first official performance as a member of the Beatles 🥁🌟

Following a two-hour rehearsal, John, Paul, George and Ringo took to the stage at Hulme Hall in Port Sunlight for the local horticultural society’s annual dance 💃🕺

It marked the beginning of the familiar four-piece line-up that would soon become known around the world 🌎

What a day and what a moment in history! ✨

RIP Elvis. In his 1956 breakout year, he played more live shows in Florida, 59, than any other state. He was 21.

Iconic and Florida-born. This is great to see. Can the @countrymusichof be far away?

Thank you friends at @FLSouthern and @CFedu for your enthused reception to our #FloridaChitlinCircuit documentary. With @wmnf’s Rev. Billy Wirtz and Producer/Videographer Buddy Pittman.

55 years ago today, while on a @WaltDisneyWorld vacation w John and Julian, @maypang photographed Lennon signing the @BeatlesEarth final dissolution papers. We spoke about it months ago at her photo exhibit. “I thought it was just another pile of legal papers.”

@batcountry1980 @dwannb Opening for Little Richard in 1962 they met his fifteen year old keyboard player named Billy Preston. @BeatlesFla

Walking downstairs where my father was watching this broadcast, he told me the news. It was the first time I ever heard him say John’s name. #RIP #JohnLennon

The legend lives on, as does Gord’s haunting ballad. #EdmondFitgerald #RIP #29Souls

Do you have a favorite sketch? More cowbell comes to mind, Barry Gibb Show, Farley interviews @PaulMcCartney. George Harrison and Paul Simon. John and Paul almost bit on the Beatle reunion gag.

I remember watching it on a small tv in my parents’ kitchen. Countless hilarious cast members and hosts; amazing musical performances.

This was written during the editing, not writing process for OTR. Great signature. Viva Ti Jean.

When I was a kid, I’ll never forget waiting hours in line for tickets to see @tompetty. We ended up getting third row center. An unforgettable show by a Florida music #Icon So sadly missed. #RIP
