After reading The room on the broom, Reception became scientists. They made bubbling potions using bicarb, vinegar and red food colouring. They explored with small amounts at first but discovered that the more vinegar they used, the bigger the reaction #BSW25@BeaufortHillPri

#NurseryBHPS showed an interest in princesses. Two weeks later after emailing the headmaster for permission, making bar charts to discover what sandwiches were the favourite, decorating my dress and table cloths . On Thursday we had our own royal ball. @BeaufortHillPri#childled
Reception asked could they make bird feeders...so we did! They independently used different tools to spread honey and peanut butter onto cardboard and then rolled them into bird seed. After threading string through them, they hung them to trees. @BeaufortHillPri @EAS_EarlyYears
After making bird feeders to attract different birds to our school grounds, Reception took part in the @Natures_Voice Big Garden Bird Watch. We noted what we saw and inputted our data on to a pictogram @BeaufortHillPri
